STRANGERS

Searching For the Displaced

Studying at a government owned university in Nigeria is an ironically lovely experience. There is an anomalous struggle and strife for knowledge, as well as millions of distractions; learning and living in dilapidated structures, tutelage from frustrated lecturers, incessant strike actions, moribund learning facilities and some other social problems.
Students are being Storm- tossed by these challenges and absurdities, as a result, students tend to do ridiculously prodigal reading, and still expect less success and more failure in exams. Students then find solace in their hobbies, passion, and every other thing that makes them happy, making them total strangers to their various fields. The atmosphere then becomes much unknown, with its element deviating from purpose. You go out and see different individuals with contrasting gestures, conflicting thoughts, people walking in different directions, buildings, signs, motion, stills, intersections, and diversions. These beautiful contents fully relate the original atmosphere of a government owned university in Nigeria.

‘Strangers’ is a visual depiction of the mood and the complex atmosphere, surrounding a government owned university in Nigeria.

Here are series of candid, posed, architectural and landscape photographs with quite unusual compositions from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun state, Nigeria.
