My understanding I consider vain
Because your direction I so trust

Missing is my soul
That it so needs your direction

Your direction is your indubitable word
Your word is truth and life
Soother to the terrified
Solvent for the confused
Solace to the homeless
Sagacity to the obtuse
Convincement to the doubter
Food for the ensurient

Your word is sweeter than the philomel's song
Your word feeds my ink
That it would cease not it's running
Your word feeds my soul
That I shall ponder over it day after day
Till the day of the grim reaper

I shall walk in your word
That I may not stumble
And face no quandary

My thoughts shall be pure
Because your word is the discerner
Of the thoughts and intent of my heart

Your word is my direction
Your word is my guide
