In the 50s, it was your right to get a right job, 

if your grades were alright, just alright.

At the turn of two decades, it became a privilege 

and every one was considered less-privileged, 

you didn't have to know an assistant or a head.

As the 1990s were packing her panties, 

a good grade could not guarantee a good job, 

but an Average jobs, 

that's even if you know a Steve Jobs

It ironic that today, they still tell you and I, 

go to school, 

Stay in school, 

study hard, 

so you'll get good grades and good jobs.

If the holy book was right where

it wrote one will chase a thousand while two; ten thousand,  

Then it should be right to write on the table of our hearts 

That if one unemployed will make a thousand dollars, 

then two will make ten thousand dollars
