MY HABITAT

00:10:00

The poetaster's movement from an urban settlement to the countryside, influences his decision to make this piece. The poet talks about the wart and the perfection of this new locality.

'MY HABITAT'

Separated by two big cities link
Why should i be on the other side of the link?
Though where i am i regret to be
I know now it's liked by me
Come to my habitat
And behold what i am looking at
Nothing but this bowel baked cake
That a certain nausea you feel when a look you take

'Dry' i describe this locality
May be because of its indegenes'  'uncivilised'
antediluvian mentality
That i ponder over this vicious 'omo onile' mystery
Though my people  are not in paucity
You'll get everything fresh here
Fresh air,its divine
Fresh fruits, backs bent before its existence
Nubile and beautiful lasses
Though spelling their name is a difficult task for them
Fresh stench, can not be created without crouching
Fresh tiny blood suckers straggling to survive
Isn't fresh a pleasant term?
My habitat swarming with cathedrals
Like street lights on a modern road
Seeing the number of cathedrals
You'll feel vulnerability of problems should never be considered
You'd never find a boulevard in my habitat
Streets, as narrow as any rail track
Track constructed by this 'omo onile' and the oblivious dwellers
Though it's a nascent place anyway
Night in my habitat interests me
Toad croaking
Who's that snoring?
Rodents destructing and constructing
Mosquitoes feasting
Only if the shield be folded in a corner
Am i in an oven? that my skin flood with this salty liquid
It all interests me
I keep awake to experience these
Always without the Faraday's legacy
Till the rooster makes the dawn alarm
I love my habitat for its greenness
Without it I'd surely be frozen or be a cadaver
I love my habitat for its freshness
I will never not love my habitat
For its 9 days break to commercialise
Though when you are here watch for serpents.
